We have been providing quality workshops and classes  since 1970 . We offer a variety of evening classes as well as 1, 2, 3 days, even week-long Photo Safari Trips. Our classes and workshops cover a wide range of photographic subjects, including: landscape, wildlife, portrait, fashion, boudoir, nude/figure in studio and on location,  wedding, model portfolio,  Adobe PhotoShop.
All classes and workshops have small class sizes designed to provide an optimum student to instructor ratio. Our classrooms and studio facilities are handicap accessible

Tri-County Photography Meetup Group

Midwest Photography has formed Tri-County Photography meetup group. Tri-County Photography will be holding events and meeting through out the year to allow photographers various shooting opportunities through out the area. These events will always be open to any one with the simple interest in making great photographs. We will also be sponsoring evening events to allow you to meet other photographers and share your work with informal image reviews and presentations on new and exciting happenings in the world of photography. Partnership with Schoolcraft Community College

Beginning in April 2013, MPW has teamed up with Schoolcraft Community College to teach 3 course through their Continuing Education Dept. To be offered are #101 Fundamentals of Photography, #201 Basic Photoshop and #401 Basic Portrait Lighting. We hope for this to be a beginning and will be expanding our partnership into the future.

MPW adds a second satellite location in Birmingham

We are very excited to announce the addition of our second satellite location. MPW has partnered with the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center and will begin offering classes and workshops with them in 2012 more information about the BBAC can be found on their website at http://www.bbartcenter.org .

Begin your career in Photgraphy

Completion of any of the certificate programs will mean the photographer/artist has demonstrated a mastery of that particular discipline. Homework, exams, and the creation and presentation of a portfolio are among the minimum requirements toward the completion of a certificate. Each certificate has a core group of classes and workshops designed to provide the student with a complete and diverse educational experience pertaining to that particular certificate
